War in Syria
Syria is officially an Arab country, capital
of Syria is Damascus. Syrian’s formal
language is Arabic. Syria is situated on the east coast of the Mediterranean
Sea in southwestern Asia; its area includes land in the Golan Heights that has
been occupied by Israel since 1967. After Syria gained its independence in
1946, political situation of country was very unstable, owing in large measure
to intense friction between the social, religious and political groups of
Syria. Hafiz-ul-Assad was president of Syria, He took his country toward little
development, his main aims to achieve national security and domestic constancy
and recover Syrian area that was lost to Israel in1967. After death of
Hafiz-ul-Assad in 2000, his son Bashir –Ul-Assad became president of Syria; he
continued his father’s controlling style of government in spite of some initial
phases toward political change. He used powerful military and services to defeat
and kill his political opposition. People of Syria were not happy with
Government performance they came out from homes in protest and it was the
beginning of Syrian civil war between Sunni opposition rebel, Salafi Jihadist group
and Syrian armed force on 15 March 2011.In civil war of Syria the group of protest finished thousands
of people were killed and Government of Bashir
–Ul-Assad was crushed by authorities, and it brought changed or
implemented in the result of protests. On 14 April 2018 the United Kingdom,
France and united state America carried out a series of military strikes
involving aircraft and ship-based missiles against multiple government sites in
Syria during the Syrian Civil war.
