Everyone have to right live freely, without human’s rights life is very difficult, humans cannot enjoy their life without human rights and freedom. Human rights are based on the principle of live and let live. Women are very important part of our society. Women can play a very special role in progress of any nation or country. The man and women are like two wheels of a cart. A cart cannot move properly if one will be defected. French philosopher, who never married once said, ‘the dignity of women is consists in being unknown the world,--her glory is the esteem of her husband; her pleasure the happiness of her family ‘but the time created new situations and old outlook underwent a change.

There is no freedom without rights, and it is merely manifestation of freedom, people cannot enjoy the life without their rights. There are laws to protect and promote the human’s right in every country; British Columbia also has a law to protect human rights. It is called BC Human Rights Code. The code helps to people to protect from discrimination and harassment. The history of freedom is the history of human right.  The Canadian Charter of Human Rights and freedoms was the part of Canadian constitution in 1982.In Canada the bill of human rights was passed in 1960 under the leadership of Prime Minister John Diefenbaker. The Canadian human’s rights bill outlined fundamental freedoms and equality rights and, this bill was the first example of human rights law at the federal level. The law of human rights in the province of British Columbia in Canada is that gives all people equal rights and opportunities without discrimination in every area like jobs, housing and other services, and it is called the Human Rights Code of British Columbia, and it is makes sure to protect the people from harassment and discrimination. The human rights Tribunal of British Columbia is responsible for dealing with the complaints of people under the human rights code. Through the Human Rights Code everyone has rights and duties, and the Code purposes are to make it sure that people are participating equally in the economically, politically, socially in Cultural life of British Columbia.

The relation between freedom and human rights is essential and it had been recognized even by the ancients. The ancients was belonged to Greek society, and they were divided into free-men and slaves, and slaves had no rights to live freely. Other countries like in Medieval Europe, feudal lord had all human rights and they were enjoying their rights, but their serfs and villains had no human rights and they denied these. In history of every country there are less or more such “black pages” which record the denial of essential human’s rights. The United Nations have declared the Human Rights broadly in the form of civil and political rights, economic and social rights, and all to have right of  freedom to speak and worship as one choose, to earn living and improve one’s status and live under the government of one’s choice. In the United Nations the civil rights announced by the United Nations are have been widely recognized, and it was provided for their constitution and became the part of United Nation’s constitution.  The human rights and freedom ought to be preserved at all cost, and the sanctity of human values, freedoms, and political rights, economic and social rights, right to speak must be protected, and it should be establish in all the countries to take care of all human’s rights and freedoms. Violation of human rights not only the human being can badly affected, moreover the whole society can be badly affected. The BC government introduced the human rights Code Amendment Act on November 1, 2018.  www.bchrt.bc.ca

According to history women have played a very important role in the development of society, and their participation in the struggle of equal opportunities, which has become a history in social development.  Man and women are playing different roles in society, but their rights are equal. Such as right to live freely, freedom to speak, right of education, right of marriage, right of vote etc are the basic rights of women.  In every stage of life we have tried to become modern and similar are the case with our women, and women are playing an essential role in progress of our country. Now a day every woman demanding equal rights with men in every field of life, even our women want equal seats in assemblies, equal numbers of job in Government services. Women should be treated equally like men, and should provide them equal chance of posts, and equal rights in domestic life. The lives of the women are not easy, they are facing a lot of issues and problem in every field of life, and they are still fighting for their basic rights in some areas. In the near past women were considered inferior to men. They were debarred from taking part in social life, but now women are taking part in social life.  There are some basic rights of women included they should have to live with freedom and free from violence, and slavery, and they should be treated as man.  There are many women who fought for women rights included Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony and Lucy, Suffragettes who campaigned for the rights of women and fought for the right of vote, as it Lucy fought to be protect under the 15th Amendment. In Canada five women Emily Murphy, Irene Marryat, Parlby, Nellie Mooney, Mcclung, Louise, and many more who started campaigns to get equal rights of women, the Canadian women fought a lot to get their basic rights, in 1977 Canadian women considered to equal with man they got the right to equality, equal opportunities, fair treatment and free environment. The Canadian Human Rights and Canadian Charter of Rights and freedom they are protecting the women rights.

Women have been fighting for equality and their rights in America since 1848, and in 1920 American constitution they considered equal to men, and got the right of vote, now women can take part in vote, and can play their role.  In 1967 United Nations Members states adopted the declaration, which considered women have equal rights as men, men and women are equal and they both are playing important role in development of society.  Justin Trudeau said raise your son like your daughter, girl should be treated as boys, they have equal rights.
